Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £31,309.20 per year

 

Job Description:

  • Monday to Friday.
  • Full time permanent position, Monday to Friday.
  • 10:00 – 20:00.
  • Enhanced Company Sick Pay and increased holiday to 31 days inclusive of Bank Holidays.
  • Reporting to Warehouse Manager.

Our team at Woolpit are currently recruiting Warehouse Operative who will be working out of our site at Woolpit, IP30 9RZ.

 

Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Operative is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently, accurately and safely. The role plays a key part in meeting customer expectations and maintaining operational performance standards.

  • Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries for damages and discrepancies.
  • Ensure all goods are stored correctly and in designated locations.
  • Operate warehouse equipment in line with training and safety guidelines.
  • Use scanning equipment to track pallet movements, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised and free from hazards.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, reporting any risks or incidents promptly.
  • Compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
  • Support general warehouse duties as required to meet operational demands.

  • Forklift licence.
