Accounts Assistant (AP)
Location: Lawn Farm, Woolpit
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000 – £30,000
Job Description:
The Role exists in its most basic form to ensure payments are made to our suppliers in an orderly, accurate and efficient manner.
The higher-level work of this role is producing weekly report, managing our supplier payments to optimise cashflow, supporting with month end, assisting with adhoc business reporting and challenging costs to ensure we are getting maximum value for money.
At its best, this role enhances business knowledge through providing information to key stakeholders as well as challenging stakeholders to ensure we are getting good value for money. (i.e. highlighting price increases)

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate production of Payment runs (weekly and monthly).
- Ensure timely and accurate production of Weekly report.
- Deliver the purchase ledger close within 2 working days.
- Maintain a tidy ledger.
- Ensure timely faster payments to support Port One.
- Bank Recs.
- Any task reasonably requested by managers or directors of the business.

Skills
Essential:
- Previous Accounts experience.
- AAT level 3
- Numbers/logic oriented
- Diligent
- Personable
- Positive Mindset.
Desirable:
- AAT Level 4
- Studying towards ACCA/CIMA
