Pay: OTE From £38,899 per year plus meal allowance £1,245

Our team at Woolpit are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 day driver who will be working out of our site at Woolpit, IP30 9RZ. At times the role will be physically demanding and a reasonable level of fitness is required.
The Duties and Tasks:
Responsible for the safe delivery and collection of palletised freight across the IP postcode and beyond. The focus being compliant and safe working practices while keeping the customers’ needs in mind and ensuring a safe reload and return to Woolpit. Daily checks of your vehicle to maintain legal compliance. Always operating within the requirements of EU/WTD hours regulations.

The applicant must:
- Have held an HGV Class 1 (HGV Cat C+E) driving licence for a minimum of 12 months with a maximum of 6 penalty points and be over 25 (Insurance purposes). Applicants outside this scope may be considered, dependant on previous employment and experiences.
- Have a full and up to date driver CPC, ongoing training while be provided.
- Be reliable, responsible and compliant in all duties.
- Be a team player, ready to work in a fast-paced environment
Advantageous Skills:
- ADR trained; however, training could be offered to the right candidate.
